Even So, Thanks For Your Company
You’ll Be Missed.”
we don’t notice it often; but people say goodbye long before they leave. they find an easy path on a map we lay out for them. at some point we were all strangers… even those we consider family. yeah, we might share a surname or our parents could be siblings but i don’t know you like that. it takes time to get from nothing to something an effort from both parties to keep things alive. how do we find ourselves looking for a past we once had, or rather, something we once had.
strangers to friends, best friends to “someone i used to know”,
a parent to a god. ” we know you are out there but we never see you.”
i sometimes go from being able to read someone like a book, because we clicked that much… to not recognizing the author at all. i wish somethings could be constants in our lives. just to balance out the highs and lows. i wish i didn’t depend on people so much. maybe it’s my fault that we lose touch. my past must be too dull for your bright future ey.
Even So, Thanks For Your Company.. heheh.. i take with me lessons from my time with you. be it a few minutes or perhaps a lifetime. every single one of you.
